"I Believe" is a southern gospel style album taking musical influences from the Cathedrals, Legacy Five and the Rev. William McCrea. Paul knew exactly what type of sound he wanted and he saw and heard that we could achieve his goals.
This is our first recording to use our new sampled string library which has been highly regarded as the best string sound, short of hiring an orchestra! We built up the orchestra with the use of sampled 1st and 2nd violin sections, violas, cellos, basses, timpani, cymbals and live brass. This album has a wide range of musical styles including classical, country, traditional gospel, southern gospel and jazz. This album was mastered in-house for CD and cassette at 24-bit resolution, retaining all the fine detail and sound staging of the mix.

"In His Presence" is a southern gospel style choir and vocal recording with most of the music recorded live in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in Scotland. This recording used our extensive facilities of live sound, recording and production to the full. The recording was part of a larger video production by Edit123, Glasgow and every camera and sound were synced to a single master clock for perfect sync. While this video production has not been produced for DVD, we did keep the option open for remixing the album in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.
The initial production for the music began in the studio with Andrew Polson (from the Gospel Heirs), who was the key to the musical arrangements. We made use of a live trumpet section for the orchestral arrangements and this brought a heightened sense of realism to the sampled orchestral backing. The choir was recorded using a very spacious and grand microphone technique which made the choir sound incredible. The final piano was recorded on a Steinway 9-foot concert grand piano in the Royal Concert Hall.
"Never The Same Again" is a studio album which was produced in April 2001. This album brings together musical styles from southern gospel, traditional gospel, operatic, and country. From the outset of this production, ourselves, along with Gillian Gardiner (soloist) and Alex Ramsey (executive producer) knew that this album would be used of the Lord.
Gillian Gardiner comes from Falkirk in Scotland and has been trained as an operatic singer. She sings extensively around the Scottish churches and is known for her sincere love for the Lord and unmistakeable voice.
Her large dynamic range and excellent diction was captured to the full in this recording.
This album was recorded at 24-bit resolution for the ultimate in clarity and was mastered in-house at 24-bit to retain the maximum detail and dynamic range possible for the CD.
"What A Saviour" is a live recording of the Gospel Heirs in concert at the GLO Centre in Motherwell. A 24-bit, 24 track simultaneous record, digital audio workstation was utilized for the recording and production of this album with unlimited additional recording tracks available. At the most, around 70 individual tracks per multitracked song.
"It has been such a blessing over the past 2 months working with Andrew (Polson) and the boys (the Gospel Heirs) on this album. We recorded the concert back in May 2000 and since then the album has been in archived storage at Stronge Studios. Last November we set a date for the production of "What A Saviour" and started work on it in January.
Andrew has been inspiring to work with as his musical talent shines in the relaxing recording environment of the studio. The musical arrangements have developed throughout these 2 months and I think you will agree that the album is truly a reflection of the dynamic and uplifting sound the Gospel Heirs are so noted for." - Mark Stronge, Stronge Studios.
"We really feel that this is our best work to date and would like to thank all those involved in producing the finished article, particularly those at Stronge Studios, Northern Ireland, who have really done a fantastic job in re-mixing the original recording and getting that lovely warm sound." - The Gospel Heirs.
"Believer's Hymns Volume 1" was produced in Autumn 2000 solely in Stronge Studios. This is another piano album but this time the pianist was Johnny Black from Ballymena, Northern Ireland. This piano album is quite imaginative in the use of orchestral backing and nature sounds. Two tracks from the album have a backdrop of nature sounds recorded in the wood behind the studios with thunder, rain and songbirds all playing a part in creating a unique atmosphere in which to play hymns.
The nature sounds for the album were recorded 8 weeks previous to the album starting in the August 2000 thunderstorms.
"What A Day" was recorded live in May 2000 in the GLO Centre in Motherwell with live musicians and over a 100 strong choir. The whole production was geared towards producing a backdrop of music for the choir to sing along with. The session musicians from Stronge Studios were brought over from Northern Ireland to provide the music with Andrew Polson leading on the grand piano. After the recording day, the music was fine tuned with some tracks having orchestral backing added. In total, over 2 months of work went into the production. The mixdown was then synced up to the video production in GMAC studios in Glasgow.
"The Unexpected Visitor" was produced in our studios in June 2000. Vivien Forsythe recites poetry and we produced music to compliment the poetry. It's quite an unusual project for us, but one that brought great satisfaction when the final mix was done.
This album has far exceeded our expectations and is regularly played on national radio and is noted by DJs for it's uplifting and lighthearted style.
"Here I Am Lord" is a traditional choir album with the newly formed Whitefield Choir. It was recorded live in Magherafelt Free Presbyterian Church with the church's own Allen organ and piano being used. The recording technique used produced a very spacious, warm, and crystal clear sound with a choir of over 200 young Christians. The goals behind this production was to get out of the rut that so many other choir albums fall into - they sound big and spacious, but there is no clarity or distinction to the words. Our primary objective was to produce a choir album that had it all; warmth, clarity, depth and smoothness. We achieved our goals and surpassed our expectations.
"Piano Praise" was produced in Autumn 1999. This is purely an instrumental album with a Steinway-D 9 foot grand piano as the lead instrument. All of the backing music was produced in our studios but the piano was recorded in the Ulster Hall in Belfast. The Ulster Hall has one of the finest acoustics in Northern Ireland and was ideal for the production of this piano album.
"A Song In My Heart" was recorded in April 1999 in Motherwell Civic Theatre, Scotland. The ideas behind the production of this album was to record a live gospel concert with it's wide dynamics and big sound. The mixdown was produced 3 months later with an amazing clarity, detail and feeling to the whole production.
"Gospel Gold" was produced in the Summer of 1999. This is a live recording of a gospel jazz group called "The Amen Gospel Praise Band". The goal for this album was to recreate the live feel and interaction of the musicians in a live gig. This was recorded live in Stronge Studios and was mixed in the Summer of 1999.
